They call me.. tater salad :p
Today is my brother's and soon to be sister in laws Jack and Jill. I was required by "law" to make a dish or dessert to share with the fine folks that are coming. So, I made a classic potato salad. I just started making potato salad about 3 years ago when we had an abundance of potatoes. I figured might as well make something delicious with them. I use the Hellman's mayo recipe with a few modifications. I use a little more white vinegar then they call for and I don't add onions, because I'm not a big fan of them. Well, I'm off to share my potato salad creation... Wish me luck!

Cookies Galore!
In my household, we always use the same recipe for cookies. The same recipe that was passed down from my Grandmother to my Mother to eventually, me. But, I am one of those, "free spirits" and decided to be adventurous. I, a master of the art of Googling, sat down at my computer and wrote in the words,"World's Best Cookie Recipe". Obviously, over 1 million sites came up all claiming to have the World's BEST. I skimmed through several sites and found a simple yet, divine recipe for chocolate chip cookies.
I mixed everything together and the recipes called for " Take 1/4 cup scoop of batter and put 3" apart." I did this on the first batch of cookies... These cookies looked like pancakes. They were HUGE! I finally got them the correct size, not too big and, not too small.
Overall, the cookies were absolutely delicious according to my "guinea pigs". Maybe this recipe will be the next one to hand down.
